Building Division Home Page

The Building Division reviews plans for code compliance, issues permits, and inspects work being performed.  We are located in Room 5 at City Hall (270 Montgomery Street).

The Marion County Building Inspection Department issues plumbing and electrical permits, and performs the preceding inspections. The Marion County Building Inspection general information number is (503)588-5147, and their fax number is (503)588-7948.

Building Division staff are available Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm to answer questions by phone at (503)982-5250, or in person at City Hall.  The Building office is closed during the lunch hour (Noon to 1pm).
