CCRLS Library Cards | Local Library Cards | To Apply
The Woodburn Public Library is a member of the Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service (CCRLS). With a Woodburn Public Library card, patrons may check out any of the material in our collection, as well as request material from the other public libraries in Polk, Yamhill, and Marion counties. To search the catalog and place requests, see the Library Catalog.
Woodburn residents receive a card free of charge. Resident children and adult patrons can check out up to 50 items.
Residents of Marion County living outside of Woodburn may also receive a free library card. For children 14 and under, this free (CARE) card for non-city residents allows them to check out up to 25 items from the youth services collection. Free adult cards are allowed one check out and one hold.
A full-service card may be purchased for a household for $60 per year (or $30 for 6 months). These children and adult patrons can check out up to 50 items.
A non-resident borrowing card (out-of-district, or not living in Marion County) may be purchased for $75.00 per household per year. These children and adult patrons can check out up to 50 items.
Key-ring cards and replacement library cards - $2.00 each.
As of June 2010, we are now offering the Woodburn Local Library Card. It is an affordable option for people who:
Are frustrated with a one item limit
Feel a $60-75 annual fee is too expensive
Only borrow materials from the Woodburn Public Library
We offer two types of local library cards – 10 simultaneous checkouts for a $15 annual fee or 25 simultaneous checkouts for a $25 annual fee. In both cases, the following caveats apply:
Access to materials owned by the Woodburn Public Library only
One card per adult patron
The card cannot be transferred
All other library rules and restrictions apply
To apply for any library card, please bring photo identification and verification of current address to the library. As we have to verify who you are and where you reside, we do not currently offer online applications.
