The Tree Giveaway Program is currently CLOSED! Applications will open on Novmeber 1st, 2025
The City of Woodburn offers residents the opportunity to receive a tree through the Urban Forestry Tree Giveaway Program. Community members within the city limits can apply for a gift certificate that can be redeemed atAl's Garden Center in Woodburn. This program cycle starts in November each year and runs through April of the following year, or until budgeted funds are expended, whichever comes first.
The City of Woodburn offers several resources for residents who are looking for information on planting street or private property trees, what kind of trees to plant, and tips on how to plant a tree for its growing success!
The City of Woodburn is dedicated to providing its residents with a healthy and vibrant community. A key factor in helping to achieve that goal is the creation and maintenance of a healthy urban forest. Woodburn's diverse mix of trees and shrubs improve the air we breathe, help to reduce water run-off, save energy, and increase our community's overall quality of life and livability.
