Fiesta Mexicana Court

 Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamt of being a princess in the Fiesta Court. I’ve always looked up to the amazing past princesses who were such strong leaders and role models in Woodburn’s Fiesta Mexicana. Being part of the Court now feels like a dream come true!

I also joined because I want to help my community as much as I can. Giving back and being involved means everything to me.

I’m a very passionate person—especially when it comes to performing! Music is a huge part of who I am, and I love sharing that passion with others. You can even catch me singing at Fiesta Mexicana!

I’m beyond excited and honored to be part of this tradition and can’t wait to represent our community with pride!

Aleida Robles Rodriguez

I’m so excited to be part of the 2025 Fiesta Mexicana Court! I joined this leadership program because I wanted to get more involved in my community and connect with others through leadership workshops and volunteer opportunities.

Through my work with the TURNO program, I’ve served as an active leader on the Leadership and Art Committee—helping design art parachutes and organize events that bring people together. I’ve also grown a strong passion for social justice, inspired by my working-class parents and my own experiences. That passion led me to join Latinos Unidos Siempre (LUS), where I’ve participated in rallies and marches to stand up for people’s rights.

Another way I’ve stayed connected to my culture is through the ENLACE Cross-Cultural Program, where I’ve helped children learn traditional dances from Mexico—something I’m really proud of.

As a first-generation student and recipient of the Ford Foundation Scholarship, I plan to attend the University of Oregon and major in Communication Disorders and Sciences so I can become a speech-language pathologist.

Being part of Fiesta Court is such an exciting step in my journey, and I’m honored to represent my community with pride, passion, and purpose!

I joined Fiesta Court to represent my Tejana culture, my community, and to carry on a meaningful family tradition that means so much to me.

My grandma and her family were the ones who created the Fiesta Mexicana, and over the years, many of my relatives have contributed to this amazing event—even running for princess themselves.

Being part of the 2025 Fiesta Court is more than just a role—it's a way for me to honor my roots, celebrate my heritage, and continue the legacy my family helped start. I'm so proud to be part of something with such deep history and heart!
