Lifeguard certification classes:

Lifeguard certification classes will be offered throughout the year at no charge to individuals who apply to work at the Woodburn Aquatic Center. If the lifeguard candidate wants to work at another facility there is a cost of $150 for the lifeguard course. This lifeguard course is taught through Ellis & Associates. Lifeguard class certification is free for anyone applying to work at the Aquatic Center. This class costs $250+ at most other Aquatic Centers around the region!

Since we began turning things around, many of you have asked, “How can I help?” We established this Community Pool Fund to show you how. Below, you will see many opportunities to invest in our success. If you can help with any of these needs, please contact pool management at (503) 980-2418.

Join our Summer league swim team! Summer league swim season dates: June 1 - Aug 12 

This group is open for 8 - 18-year-old swimmers who are able to swim 50 yards of freestyle and backstroke (1 length of the pool is 25 yards).

Coaches will teach proper technique in all 4 swim strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle, as well as starts and turns. 

Practice Times:
June 1 - June 16: Monday thru Thursday; 4:15 - 5:15 pm
June 19 till end of season: Monday thru Thursday; 9:00 - 10:00 am

Woodburn Manta Ray Swim Team

Join our entry level swim team!

This group is open for 8 - 18 year old swimmers who are able to swim 50 yards of freestyle and 50 yards of backstroke (1 length of the pool is 25 yards).

Coaches will teach proper technique in all 4 swim strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle, as well as starts and turns. Swimmers will have the option to compete in swim meets.

The seasonal recreational league team will practice every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Summer hours TBA. 

Baby & Me

Toddler: 6 months- 3 years

For parents and children to explore swimming and work on water safety skills. Register child only. 

Lil’ Shrimp

Preschool: 3- 5 years

For the non-swimmer: It’s fun to make bubbles and get my eyes and ears wet! My teacher will help me float and glide in the water. I’m learning to love the water!

Jellyfish

Preschool: 3–5 years; Youth: 6–12 years

Swim Lessons

Weekday Lessons: 10 Lesson Sesssion ($45 per student)

Saturdays: 5 Lesson Session ($25 per student)

Classes are subject to change. Credit is not available for participant absences.

Group Sessions:

Spring Break Lessons (Registration is open now):

Monday through Friday: March 24 - March 28

Spring Lessons (Spring Registration opened March 1):

Session 1: Tuesday/Thursday April 1 - May 1

Registration is done through our activity software.  

Class days, times and descriptions are located on our registration page.
Each lesson is 30 minutes in length.

Refunds or transfers must be made at least 3 days in advance.  Requests for changes or refunds for classes starting on a Monday must be made by Friday.  Requests for changes or refunds for classes starting on a Saturday must be made by Wednesday.  This allows us time to potentially fill the spot with a new registrant or adjust instructor schedules.

Monday-Friday: 6am -  8pm

Saturday: 9am - 1pm

Sunday: 12pm - 5pm 

Lap swim, open play, parent/child, senior/therapy swim, fitness room and saunas are available during all open hours. 

Fitness Classes:

Resistance Training
Monday and Wednesday 7:00 AM - 7:45 AM

Pricing is not based on residency; pricing is the same regardless of where one resides.
