Public Works Water Quality Reports

The Public Works Drinking Water Section has released the 2024 Water Quality Report. The Drinking Water Section is comprised of Water Treatment and Distribution Operators, Water Technicians, Utility Workers and Meter readers. Each personnel perform duties applicable to the treatment and distribution of potable water. With the enhancements and expansion of our drinking water system, top quality water is provided to our community today and in the future.

Woodburn OR 214/OR 99E Pedestrian Safety Study

The "Woodburn OR 214/OR 99E Pedestrian Safety Study" (2018) by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the City Public Works Department, Engineering Division, focused on the pedestrian safety performance of Oregon Highway 214 (Newberg Highway) and U.S. 99E (Pacific Highway) in Woodburn.  The goal of this study was to evaluate pedestrian safety along both state highways and recommend enhancements that will improve safety performance.

Wastewater Rate Increase Approved by City Council

At their meeting on February 10, 2020, the Woodburn City Council approved implementing proposed wastewater system rate increases that will occur in three incremental steps over a period of 22 months. They are:

5% on March 1, 2020
5% on January 1, 2021
5% on January 1, 2022.
