Rate Adjustment for Woodburn Curbside Garbage Collection Service

On November 11, the Woodburn City Council approved a solid waste and recycling rate adjustment for residents and businesses in the City of Woodburn. The rate adjustment was needed due to increases in operational costs for the City’s solid waste and recycling provider and disruptions to the global recycling market.

The new rates take effect on January 1, 2020.

Residential and commercial rates will increase. For example, service for a residential 20-gallon garbage can with recycling & yard waste pickup will increase $2.75/month and a residential 35-gallon garbage can with recycling & yard waste pick up will increase $3.13/month.
