WPD Surveillance Camera Registration

Purpose 

The Purpose of the Video Surveillance Registration Program is to provide the community with a means to assist the City of Woodburn Police Department in preventing and fighting crime. The program allows residents and businesses to register the locations of their exterior video surveillance systems with the Woodburn Police Department so that when a crime occurs, police will be able to identify the locations of nearby video cameras easily and efficiently.

If necessary, the Woodburn Police Department will contact registrants directly, using the information provided at the time of registration, to request to view or retrieve appropriate video recordings should a criminal incident occur in the area of the registered surveillance system.

Design Review Application

Common Design Review applicant oversights include:

  • Nonconformance and site upgrades:  See WDO 1.04.
  • Landscaping detailed information:  See WDO 3.06.03A and Tables 3.06A, B, & C.
  • Recycling and trash enclosure architectural treatment:  See WDO Table 3.06D and 3.06.06.
