Library Board

The Woodburn Public Library Board consists of 7 members appointed by the Mayor. The Board serves in an advisory capacity in setting library policies and priorities. They meet the 2nd Wednesday of January, April, July, and October at 5:30 pm in the Library conference room.

This facility is ADA accessible. If you need special accommodation, please contact the City Recorder at 503-980-6318  at least 24 hours prior to this meeting.

VISION STATEMENT:

Woodburn will be a safe, vibrant, full-service community. Woodburn will be a community of unity, pride, and charm. It will be a sustainable, technologically advanced community with a functional multi-modal transportation system. Woodburn will thrive as a regional focus for the advancement and enjoyment of the arts, culture, leisure and recreational activities. Woodburn will be a great place to live, work and visit.

MISSION STATEMENT:

It is the mission of the Woodburn City Council to make Woodburn a great place to live, work, and visit.

Budget Committee

The Budget Committee is an advisory body to the City Council. The purpose of the Budget Committee is to meet publicly to review the budget document as proposed by the City Administrator. The Budget Committee receives the budget and budget message and provides the opportunity for the public to ask questions about and comment on the budget.
