Due to the emergency declaration resulting from COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease) and protocols, the Woodburn City Council is limiting in-person contact and social distancing.

The Special Meeting of the Woodburn City Council to be held on July 27, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. will be conducted remotely by video conferencing.

The City of Woodburn requests proposals, from qualified firms or individuals, for furnishing professional services to assist City staff in updating the City’s transportation system development Charge (SDC) methodology & providing calculations for an updated transportation SDC fees for the City of Woodburn. The Transportation System Plan was just updated last year. The City intends to award a contract that will not exceed $75,000.

Because of the governor's emergency Executive Order No. 20-16 (April 15) about coronavirus (COVID-19), the Commission on June 25 will meet remotely by telephone/video conference, and City Hall will remain closed to the public.

The Finance Department provides the complete range of accounting services for the City, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, data control and audit management.

The City provides water and sewer utility service to approximately 7,000 accounts. Meters are read and entered into handheld recorders. The meter readings are transferred into our accounting system, which produces billing statements weekly. For most of the accounts, water consumption for the month is based on a single meter reading, while others are based on multiple meter readings. These readings are used for the calculations during billing.
