Lower Boones Ferry Crossing Closure Notice

From Monday, March 23 to Friday, March 27, Union Pacific Railroad will perform a necessary crossing repair/replacement on the Lower Boones Ferry/Settlemier/Ogle St rail crossing. During this time, the intersection will closed, with traffic being detoured through Belle Passi Rd.

Disabled Parking Enforcement Volunteering

The Disabled Parking Patrol is one of the programs powered by volunteers at the Woodburn Police Department. The purpose of this program is to keep disabled parking spaces available for those who need them. To accomplish this, volunteers patrol areas of Woodburn, checking for disabled parking violations and issuing citations as needed.

Wastewater Rate Increase Approved by City Council

At their meeting on February 10, 2020, the Woodburn City Council approved implementing proposed wastewater system rate increases that will occur in three incremental steps over a period of 22 months. They are:

5% on March 1, 2020
5% on January 1, 2021
5% on January 1, 2022.

WPD GovDeals Site

The Woodburn Police Department currently utilizes GovDeals, an online auction website for government surplus, to remove lost, unclaimed and/or abandoned property from its inventory. They are a nationwide company that allows anyone to bid on items; however, only government entities are allowed to sell.

All property posted on GovDeals by the Woodburn Police Department has been processed in accordance with Chapter 98 of Oregon Revised Statutes.
