ACTUALIZACIÓN 2/25/25: Barrenador esmeralda del fresno (Emerald Ash Borer, EAB) 

Anoche, en la reunión del Consejo Municipal, el personal proporcionó información actualizada sobre la detección local del barrenador esmeralda del fresno (EAB). Para reducir su propagación, el Ayuntamiento comenzará a retirar los fresnos infectados.

**Los árboles infectados se identificaron en el parque Wyffles en agosto de 2024.  Está previsto retirarlos a finales de marzo de 2025.**

UPDATE 2/25/25: Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) 

At last night’s City Council meeting, staff provided an update on the local detection of the Emerald Ash Borer. To slow its spread, the City will begin removing infected ash trees.

sediments, and other dissolved material in a watershed drain to a common body of water such as a lake, river, or stream.

Everything that happens in a watershed affects water quality:
• Motor oil dumped down a storm drain
• Pesticides and fertilizers from farmlands
• Withdrawals of water for municipal and farm uses
• Sediments from construction projects
• Timber harvest on steep slopes
